About Koneko Records

Koneko Records (formerly known as Hella Kitty Records) began in the Fall of 2007 to represent both of the music projects of Madeline Roa.

The indie acoustic project is a folky rhythmic combination of acoustic instrumentation mixed with the electronic to capture an ambient dreamy blend of sounds along with her signature harmonies.

The second music project, Anime Girl the New Beat Poet, is a fusion of atmospheric electronic soundscapes mixed together with the vocal delivery ranging from rhythmic spoken word neo-beat poetry, soulful vocals, and ethereal modern opera.
